Hey, I’m Seb. If I was trying to sell myself, I’d probably give myself a made-up title, like ‘multidisciplinary professional’. What does that even mean? I don’t know. Eh, it’s on my CV, so it must be true.

I think what I mean to say is that I haven’t decided what I’m going to do with myself for the rest of my life yet. I probably won’t figure that out any time soon, but here’s what I’ve been getting up to in the meantime:

• I’m a philosophy undergraduate at the University of Edinburgh. Yes, I get asked that question a lot. No, I don’t know what I’m going to do with it. I can work that out later.

• I also work as a supervisor for the University’s Information Services Group. I look after a team of captioners. We make the university’s media a little more accessible, one caption track at a time. It’s a bit of a Sisyphean task, given the amount of media produced here, but ‘one must imagine Sisyphus happy’, right? (Bit of philosophy for you there.)

• I’m a graphic designer and video editor too! I like obsessing over the small details. I’ve worked with clients over the last few years, but I’m focusing a bit more on my degree at the moment.
